Financial Educator Duties:• Conduct financial education presentations to One Summer youth employees.• Responsible to travel to various youth employment sites within the City of Chicago. (Travelassistance or reimbursement will be provided.)• Complete training on the financial education presentation and materials.• Track and report youth participants for each site.• Lead the work of high school interns at community presentations.• Lead project teams with high school interns in financial education development efforts.• Work on teams to develop additional financial capability content to be shared via video, webinar, newsletter, magazine article, presentations, etc.• Assist EAC staff in communicating and coordinating with community partners as needed.• Data entry: Enter completed saves pledge and badge certifications into data base.• Report status updates to respected manager daily/weekly as required.• Adhere to program procedures and policies and complete projects as needed and directed.

Primary ResponsibilitiesYouth Activation/Youth Engagement Strategies- Researching community youth organizations and creating synergies within LRNG while centering youth voices & perspectives to better serve youth in local communities. - Draft comprehensive engagement strategies for LRNG product releases and announcements- Prepare communication and marketing materials on an ad hoc basis, including but not limited to: - Shareable social media content for new LRNG features, materials, and events - Blog posts -Prospect materials directed at youth in the community- Update the Social Media Playbook with new tools and templates- Schedule all social media posts on Twitter and Facebook- Track and share content from industry influencers, LRNG cities & programs on social media- Represent LRNG at conferences and events- Coordinate and support LRNG marketing eventsMisc Responsibilities:- Report to the Director of User Research who leads the strategy for and implementation of user research andcommunications for LRNG.- Work collaboratively and cross functionally with other teams within LRNG- Develop and implement social media marketing strategies- Conduct user research with youth ages 13-24 and practitioners using LRNG across multiple sites in Chicago.- Maintain and communicate to external stakeholders up-to-date knowledge about product functionality,releases, and updates- User Research- Conduct qualitative user research at 1 or more sites in Chicago, including: managing site schedules,gathering field notes, and refining them into actionable reports.- Consolidate insights gleaned from user research (e.g. product, content development needs, data needs,workshop needs) in a memo to inform product and materials development.- Conduct research related to product market fit, including data collection and analysis- Create literature reviews on topics related to education and technology.
