Head of Social Media for Bauer Create, the UK wide digital agency team for Bauer Media's commercial audio business. I develop and implement Social Media products for our clients to create a robust revenue stream for the business. As Head of Social, my responsibilities range from top end content creation - (photo, graphics, video and copy) and paid implementation (industry leading paid strategy and ROI focused campaigns) to training and support of the wider digital team on all Social Media related activity.

The task given on the creation of this role is to introduce Social Media Management to the Bauer Media portfolio as a service. I have been responsible for building this position from the ground up, creating pricing structures, determining workflow, training Social Media to sales and digital, pitching to clients, acting as an account manager, content and strategy creation and paid social implementation.Working predominantly with local businesses of varying size, my approach was to position Bauer in the market (and to existing advertisers) as an affordable means of harnessing the power of paid social. By introducing the benefits of Social Media marketing to them, as well as advanced Paid Social strategies incorporating remarketing, custom audiences and dynamic product catalogues I have been able to seamlessly and successfully guide numerous businesses who had limited or no experience with social, to tangible results and success.Highlights include:• A lead generation campaign with a 6,712.84% ROI• Successful introduction of Paid Social aimed exclusively at selling funeral plans to 50+ users with a 1000% ROI• A traffic campaign with a budget of £300 generating more clicks than a £1000 PPC campaign and organic traffic combined• A £3.14 CPL for a real estate business

Working with Algiz Ltd, an established creative agency with 15 years experience, my role has varied along with the demands of the role. Brought in to manage a client's social media campaign, my workload quickly diversified to rebranding the agency's social media channels including a complete revamp of their promotional and informational copy, top to bottom. I have carried out design work, photo editing, creative video editing and creative/corporate copywriting for a variety of clients including the agency itself. By all accounts it was a baptism of fire, but I came out without as much as a mild singe.

As a freelancer I developed my own holistic approach to social media, empowering small business owners to manage their own social media effectively rather than generating content on their behalf. As a consultant my vision was to research the brand, create market segments and inform SME's of how to best appeal to their customer base.

Entered the company as a creative PR intern, but rapidly became responsible for managing all social media accounts, devising strategy and direction for the brand on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Mailchimp and blog platforms, providing a more commercial edge while retaining the lifestyle branding the company was known for, resulting in increasing to over 100k followers, and a 20% increase in social media traffic to website. As well as Social Media strategy and all related creative copy, also contributed photography, design and PR content. Created and introduced structure for more comprehensive ROI reporting to upper management, resulting in budgetary increase to the online team. Worked with professional photographers to create, plan, implement and release conceptual campaigns for new launches, resulting in immediate measurable increases to engagement, growth, traffic, conversion and sales.
