As part of this my focus is integrating intellectual property tools into R&D and business processes to achieve commercial objectives. I’m lucky enough to work across the entire innovation eco-system and I regularly advise Universities and other research organisations working with fundamental or applied science, start-ups, emerging and established exporters and listed multi-national companies. In addition, I’ve covered a wide range of technical fields including chemistry, medical products, materials science, renewable energy, and mechanical and process engineering. This experience has given me unique insights which allow me to identify and implement appropriate intellectual property strategies. In addition, I assist clients with the process of securing and managing intellectual property rights including patents, designs and trade marks. This includes preparing and filing applications and management of complex intellectual property portfolios.
