I'm retired from real work since 1991. I am now involved full time in a hobby that I have been involved in since 1969. And that is that I have had two careers, one by day, and one by night. During my time with Sears Roebuck, in the management ranks, I also was a performing flamenco guitarist, and a guitar maker in my free time. In my wild youth after, being graduated from College of the Sequoias, in Visalia CA. (a two year college) I decided to continue my education in Spain. I had heard so much Flamenco guitar on recordings, that I was in love with Flamenco music. I had had two years of lessons with A professional guitarist from Spain, so I was prepared. I went to private study with a master teacher in Madrid, Spain. It was the most wonderful thing I have ever done. After a year, my teacher told me I had learned every thing he knew about flamenco. Back in California I studied 4 more years with world famous Juan Serrano. While in Spain I learned to be a Luthier(guitar maker) also.
