Established in January 2014, David was one of the founding member of PG Hely Chambers which comprise of 8 members, including 3 Senior Counsel. Members of the Floor possess specialist expertise in commercial and employment law, which complements David’s practice.David regularly appears unled in various courts and tribunals across the State, and as a junior to Senior Counsel in significant litigation, commissions of inquiry and royal commissions. He provides considered and sound legal advice in relation to broad range of commercial matters and accepts briefs from both solicitors in law firms and in-house legal departments.

David commenced practise as a barrister on Sixth Floor Wentworth Chambers. During the six years in which he was a member of the Floor, David gained considerable experience in a broad range of commercial matters and continues to appear in significant litigation, commissions of inquiry and royal commissions with Senior Counsel on the Floor, including Tim Hale SC and Todd Alexis SC.

David was a key member of the Commercial Litigation Department at MinterEllison, during which time he acted in a wide range of matters concerning commercial litigation, securities litigation, insolvency, property and tax disputes.

David was the first Associate to the Honourable Justice Emmett.
