About David Macphee
I have been involved in mental health counseling work with children, youth, and young adults for over 15 years. I have recently completed my Masters in Social Work at Dalhousie University. My work experience includes psycho-educational programming with ex-gang members, counselling of youth, young adults as well as individual counseling for persons with a wide variety of mental health concerns. I have been educated in a wide variety of approaches including: trauma-focused CBT, anti-oppressive, strength-based, emotion focused, narrative therapy and Alderian therapeutic techniques.I currently live in Dartmouth NS and I commute regularly to the Annapolis Valley region of NS.
