I work mainly with computational continuum mechanics, including finite volume and finite element methods for fluid and solid interaction, fluid flow and heat transfer. My general areas of interest, through which I apply computational and experimental techniques, are renewable energy efficiency, energy storage and shape-morphing surface design.

Provided energy assistance for small-to-medium-sized manufacturers in Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. Supervised and trained a large group of undergraduate and graduate engineering students in support of this effort.
