This entailed leading the full scope of long-horizon business development, scouting opportunities for direct sale or to drive inclusion in client solutions roadmaps. I also managed presentations and displays at industry trade shows and provided engineering and technical support on behalf of the Sales organization. Key achievements:►Building a high value pipeline of opportunities, for a series of major deals up to $40M in value each. This was achieved by liaising with our global client project developers, utilities, and engineering firms to build mindshare and opportunities.►Sourcing C-level industry, transportation, and military decision makers as evangelist and demonstrator at ten annual trade shows including Solar Power International, DistribuTECH, and PowerGen.►Collaborating with the Sales organization on high-profile RFP wins. I was successfully in leveraging a consultative approach and my technical expertise to promote projects for Alaskan and Canadian microgrids, island microgrids, and the frequency regulation markets.►Maintaining client engagement across long deal lifecycles via ongoing education, follow-up cadences, and strategic introductions.►Aligning with our internal product management and technical teams as “voice of the customer” on a rapidly growing product portfolio, adding value via needs analysis, advocacy, and input on new products and feature sets.►Delivering comprehensive engineering support on solutions definition and architecture, navigating technical hurdles, and providing education.
