Professional ExperiencePREFACE: My wife of 46 years died on November 3, 2021. By choice, I am not currently working and have no plan to work again until spring of 2022. It is not certain that I shall get back into consulting in the spring, but I am not in a good enough place right now to feel I could perform at the professional level that I expect of myself. I am indebted to all who have prayed for us over the last 16 months.I graduated from Kent State University in 1976 with a BBA in Accounting. I have been responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance, including multi-department supervision, financial statement reporting and analysis, internal audit, product costing and inventory management, tax/covenant compliance and strategic planning. I have international and foreign currency experience, focused primarily on internal and SEC reporting, separate and consolidated financial and operational reporting and analysis from sales, marketing, manufacturing, departmental, divisional, regional and combined segment management to the division and corporate officers and to the Board of Directors. For the last twenty years, I have generally worked as a consultant with subject matter expertise in accounting operations and financial reporting, I have completed fifteen assignments, including acting as Corporate Controller, Interim Treasury Controller, Director of Business Services, Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting and as manager or supervisor of three separate SOX projects.
