I oversaw the development of Drupal 7 (the most widely-used version of the open-source Drupal content management system), reviewing and committing hundreds of patches for bug fixes and small feature improvements, and managing security and bug fix releases of Drupal core. This was mostly a volunteer position.

I worked as a part-time consultant for Tag1, focusing on development, code review, and automated testing for complex Drupal websites.

I helped clients with any aspect of website planning, development, performance, and security. My focus was primarily on sites built using the Drupal content management system.

I worked as part of a team to build Drupal websites for large non-profit and government clients, including extensive coding of custom and contributed Drupal modules. As a technical lead, I planned and managed the technical aspects of client projects and communicated with technical and non-technical client stakeholders.

I helped design, build, and maintain Drupal Gardens (a managed Drupal 7 service which hosted thousands of websites, including small sites up through large enterprise installations) and worked on other products such as Acquia Hosting and the Acquia Network. I also performed a variety of other tasks, including programming in JavaScript, Ruby and Puppet.

I performed research in astrophysics, published academic papers, presented at conferences, managed a grant budget, and pursued education and public outreach work.
