Many times throughout my career I am often asked why I made the jump from commercial real estate to small business brokerage. I discovered early on in my career that I really enjoyed working with small business owners. They are the people going to work every day and putting everything on the line to provide for their family. I also realized that when it came time for them to retire or divest of their business for any other reason, there just weren’t any trained professionals available to help them.
