Over the last 30 years Mr. Martinez has been involved with outdoor recreation resource, wetland protection and restoration, and special-status species mitigation projects. His experience has ranged from watershed-scale projects, to projects with a single focus of consideration. He has extensive experience in the integration of multiple resource management considerations requiring pubic-process facilitation, user-conflict resolution, and agency consultation and coordination. He has also developed considerable expertise in the field of wetland protection and restoration and special-status species mitigation. As one of the founders of Conservation Resources LLC, he was responsible for the development of four mitigation bank projects in Sacramento and Placer counties, California. His career includes working with Cardno Inc., The Nature Conservancy, California Wildlife Conservation Board, California Department of Parks and Recreation, and City of Roseville.
