• Provide specialist advice and tailored support to City Services and City Development divisions on a range of employee relations issues including grievances, consultation, change management, performance, capacity and conduct matters.• Resolve queries from employees relating to the interpretation of the Enterprise Agreement and other policies, processes or practices.• Promote and maintain a constructive relationship with employee representatives (internal and external) and Trade Unions as an approachable, assertive and knowledgeable specialist.• Represent Monash in IR/Legal matters.• Assist the Workplace Relations Manager with the end-to-end management of the Enterprise Agreement.• Work closely with the broader People and Safety (P&S) Team to achieve specific projects and initiatives.• Keep abreast of key IR/ER matters (including legislative changes) across the organisation andbroader industry to benefit the Monash City Council and pro-actively network with others in the industry.• Liaise within and across the wider P&S Team to ensure areas of cross-over are dealt with effectively and the experience of the organisation is maximised.• Support the Workplace Relations Manager and Team as required.
