I Support young Adults with Learning Difficuties in a day to day basis with all there personal care and needs. I promote there wellbeing and independence through a range of actvities like walking and sports. I also facilate the music groups as a musican with a focus on percussion and voice and guitar and keyboard. I also facilitate the Drama groups and have overseen and produced several short performances to date based on there intrests using a lot of improvistion and with focus on movement rather than script. I also wrote and produced a Christmas song with the clients which gained local radio play.

I worked in a residential home supporting Adults with a range of special needs. I supported them in there daily lives through household chores and personal care and also the handling of there medication and finances. I also promoted there wellbeing by supporting them on a range of actitvites like Swimmimg, walking and Arts and crafts and music. I also worked in housing support for a time providing the same support.

Giving specialised Private instrument tuition to youths from age 11 and upwards, Involved in organising Professional Songwriting workshops and live events Actively participated in developing and implementing ideas for projects including a live event with music industry experts in a libaray setting.

Responsible for providing support in a 24 Supported Autism Unit. Assisting in developing daily planners and activities, Assisting in personal care and household chores with the clients. I also get involved in music sessions with the individuals. I also supported them outstide in the community to promote independence through a range of different actvities.

The Sound Institute was established January 2009 in Glasgow by Christina Hughes, since that time we have provided music workshops for schools, various charity organisations, school holiday programmes and social inclusion projects in Glasgow and surrounding areas.Actively participated in developing and implementing ideas for projects,Developed 12 week guitar tuition programme at Langside Halls, Glasgow and Haven project in Blantyre.We provide a fun, interactive and educational experience for all ages and abilities. All our specialist instructors are Disclosure Scotland checked, insured and experienced professional musicians and teachers. We ensure that everyone within the group feels comfortable participating to a level suitable for them. There are many benefits to participating in music workshops and courses, we have found that they promote communication skills, concentration and best of all they are fun.
