Helping users with problems on the following software :- DOS 5 - 6.22, Windows 3.1 - 98, Excel, Word, Access, Reflections for DOS & Windows & Advice on other packages where possible. The first line support on WAN, LAN & Comms equipment problems, The managing & running of the I.T. Helpdesks, over seeing of the members of staff & following written procedures. Liaising with other departments & depots, which includes attending various meetings to enable the smooth running of the company as a whole. Communicating with hardware suppliers to gain a good purchase price & also with third party support companies to obtain a decent level of support.

The writing of programs using MEGA a pseudo fourth generation language. Entering of data to be used in reports. The computer system used was an ICL system 25. DMF 3 was the operating system. Also 6 Months running a H.P. 9000-822 Unix computer system with Tetra Chameleon Software.
