UP is focused on computational system security via hardware containerization; and on the acceleration of systems and their associated software via the application of a standard hardware-based, software acceleration infrastructure. These accelerators work in concert with standard CPU architectures to create customization/acceleration blocks which substantially increase performance and decrease power consumption. UP products will target SoC based systems in the near future and die-stacked systems in the longer term.
