I am a seasoned NHS leader with more than 20 years senior management experience, much of it gained outside the NHS. I am a Lancaster University MBA graduate and have developed a reputation for crafting and implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges.I was formerly a Practice Director at a teaching practice, Head of Contracts for one CCG and Head of Primary Care Development for two CCGs. I have also held roles as diverse as Prison Governor, Shopping Centre Manager, Managing Director of an SME and Financial Controller. I currently lead NHS St Helens CCG's primary care transformation, commissioning and contracting teams, working with GPs to transform care delivery.Sadly, I lost my wife to brain cancer in the summer of 2017. I opted to take a work sabbatical and I return to work in April 2018.
