I received a BS in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Connecticut (UConn), a leading university in exercise science research. At UConn I was able to do research in several areas of kinesiology, and also interned with their D1 athletics under the Assistant Head Strength Coach for my final two years. As an intern I was responsible for assisting the soccer teams (Men’s and Women’s) and Women’s Volleyball team and I developed a passion for working with these elite athletes.After graduating UConn, I worked as a Physical Therapist Aide at Peak Performance in Lynbrook where I was able to get a more practical understanding of rehabilitation process and had a chance to work with a variety patients. After becoming a NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist I transitioned to the Fitness Program and now I use my experiences to help my clients achieve their fitness goals.In 2018, while still working at Peak as a Physiologist, I began interning with a Orthopedist and his Physician Assistant. In 2019, I started a masters Physician Assistant program at St. John’s University where I will matriculate in 2022.
