My territory is Scotland, Northern Ireland and North East England. Currently selling into Key customer accounst, M&E contactors and consultants as well as channelled business through our preffered wholesale distributors.

I worked both internally and externally in a Sales Executive Role. Saucer Solutions specialise in three main areas, Distribution, Metal Fabrication & Specialist Installations. I was mainly involved in the Metal Fabrication and Distribution side of the business selling into the different customers including roofing contractors and specialist construction companies. Saucer Solutions manufacture Flashings, Gutters, Soakers and Louvres from various materials including Plastic Coated Steel, Aluminium & Galvanised Steel. We also have distribution deals set up with PMJ Tec Ltd in order to supply a full range of fixings to complement the manufactured materials. Saucers are also Distributors for Huck Nets, who are renowned throughout Europe for their quality netting products, enabling us to offer the supply only & supply & installation of various netting systems including Safety Netting, Bird Netting & Sports Netting.

Whilst working with Cable Services/Smith Electrical, I sell to both the electrical wholesalers and contractors. In addition I am also involved in the buying of materials for Smiths and have to work closely with the manufacturers and our sub contractors in order to secure the best price and service possible. Although the company is primarily a specialist distributer, I have been dealing with a vast product portfolio including Raychem Trace Heating, Tyco/3M Cable Joints and Furse Earthing Material.

During the training programme at Rexel Senate I gained an insight and extensive knowledge about the wholesale electrical industry whilst also building my sales experience. I completed a number of City & Guilds modules on the different aspects of the trade including electrical industry product knowledge, warehouse and distribution, counter, telesales and field sales, plus work experience on site with a contractor, I also gained knowledge on the procurement process and buying policies.

During my time at CIS I gained further sales experience as a Financial Adviser in the savings and investments field. In this role, I had to manage my own diary effectively and complete all related administration tasks. I also developed my face to face selling techniques whilst dealing with members of the public in their own homes and with employees in their work environment.

Whilst working with Norwich Union I worked in the home, automobile and van insurance departments. This involved dealing different queries over the phone with customers for example, quotes, renewals and general queries whilst ensuring I delivered a positive customer experience. This role was target orientated with monthly targets which I met and exceeded regularly.
