Working in partnership with Gloucester Council I am the Senior Environmental Enforcement officer based in the town centre. I operate as part of a small team dealing with all aspects of environmental enforcement such as littering, fly tipping, trade waste offences and any other issues that are raised by individuals or any of the agencies we work with. I work as the contract link between our organisation and the council and attend all meetings and joint events. My role is mostly field based but I am responsible for the running of all aspects of the Gloucester office.

Support Worker based in Newent Gloucestershire.I worked on a mobile basis with up to ten different individuals who I supported in all aspects of their independence such as transport, workplace assistance, financial and benefit support along with all help with medication and mental wellbeing.I worked within individuals own homes, in their workplaces and from various different residential sites operated by the organisation.

Based at the Worcester and Gloucester depot I delivered and collected all types of vehicles to both business and private clients all over the country. The role combines both lone working and operating as part of small teams. Face to face customer service is a huge part of the job as we work on large national contracts with companies such as Nissan, Vauxhall, West Mercia Police and British Gas.

My Visiting Officer role had me working as part of the West Midlands Enforcement Team covering Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. My role was a lone worker position visiting residential and business properties across the three counties. My weekly jobs and visit list were downloaded and it was then my responsibility to route plan and organise my weekly work schedule. I took part in all company training sessions and attend all team and area development meetings whilst in the role. I worked on my own for the majority of time but took part in some joint operations with other local officers and my area manager.

I worked as a Life Skills Instructor at a residential college for young adults with autism. My role as a Life skills instructor was varied and different every day as I supporting individual students who have different levels of skills and independence. I organised and arranged the full daily routines of the individuals I worked with each day. This can be anything from transportation to and from college or work, assisting with personal shopping visits, organising medical or any other daily appointments or practically anything and everything else to support the individual with the aim to move them into a more independent life.

Based at the head office I worked as part of the Housing Team as an Incomes Services Officer. My role was to deal with all tenant rental issues and deal with any problems regarding non-payment of rent. I worked in partnership with the organisations Financial Support Officer and the Housing Benefits Officer. Most of the customer contact was done over the phone but my role also had me taking part in office meetings with the tenants, going out to meet with them in their own homes to offer advice and work with them on financial planning and budgeting.

Working from the M5 services centre I was based in the 24hr recovery control room, due to the role I worked a combination of day and night shifts. My role was to react to any breakdown or roadside incident across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire and organise recovery or removal of the vehicles involved. The company worked for all the major recovery firms such as AA and Green Flag along with many other contracts including West Mercia Police.

The vast majority of my day-to-day work was field-based in my assigned area of the borough, dealing with both residential and commercial customers. I dealt with all aspects of anti-social behavior such as graffiti, fly-tipping, debt recovery, commercial and residential waste offences, street trading offences and recycling mandates. I worked on multi-agency operation teams, with organisations such as the DVLA, the Environment Agency, the Metropolitan Police.I attend court on a regular basis, carried out PACE interviews and produced my individual prosecution cases compiling the legal files and collecting all the evidence in order to finalise the case against individuals and businesses.

Based at the Divisional Head Quarters, I dealt with the recovery and transportation of all vehicles involved in auto-crime that either originated in, or where automobiles were abandoned in our divisional area. I gathered data and applied for legal information from various agencies to buildlegal files and create court documentation. I liaised with the owners of the vehicles, the insurance companies, other Essex police divisions, national police forces, local councils and any other relevant agencies.
