Additionally, he also furnishes design packages for structural steel projects and provides technical support for the installation and special field conditions to SDI’s customers. Prior to joining SDI, David worked as Vice President of Engineering with Steel Stitch Corporation in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he published several technical manuals for the awning and canopy industry and traveled extensively throughout the U.S., providing training to fabrication shops. He later started Legacy Fabrications in Canton, Georgia, and fabricated custom decorative metal work for 4 years.David is originally from North Georgia and graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University) with a BS in Civil Engineering Technology.
