Completely rebuilt entire custom ERP for managing reverse logistics, management, inventory and all billing and invoicing for all of Microstar's 3.5 million beer kegs nation-wide.Started from requirements I gathered from multiple user groups and stakeholders, architected and designed a AWS cloud-native solution leveraging cost- and time-savings services offered by AWS in a "serverless" solution architecture. The system features fully automatic scalability, coast-to-coast availability and extremely secure environment with no servers to hack.The system reduces cost of operation by two orders of magnitude per month.

AWS Consultant on project to increase cloud security due to a financial information security requirements.Implemented security features to further secure environment from potential attacks. Features included tighter networking configuration, remote-access credential requirements and host-hopping to prevent direct inward access.

Technical lead on project migrating existing legacy cloud environment to new AWS VPC environment.Goals were to increase security and decrease networking complexity by consolidating servers into single VPC environment from legacy cloud environment. Requirement was to perform migration during a single weekend. Completed migration in under six hours with zero issues using strategy designed by McDaniel Cloud Solutions.

Provided Heroku and AWS Cloud Consulting services in Red Robin's effort to rebuild their loyalty management and web applications. Integrated with Salesforce.com and created entirely new system using Java, Heroku and AWS. Enabled system to scale to over 40,000 concurrent user sessions from 1,100.

Evaluated current primary billing system implementation. Created an analysis of go-forward strategy between custom build and buy-and-customize. Defined ROI and three, five and 10 year cost analysis. Recommended final solution adopted by client.
