Sport is a way of life. It is at the centre of society. It has a positive impact on you, me and our community. It changes lives. It motivates me to ensure that sport and physical activity is offered in creative and innovative ways, to as wide a population as possible. It drives my passion, to showcase the impact sport and physical activity has in our communities. There is no greater feeling than hearing, seeing and being part of the difference sport makes in people’s lives. Sport has changed my life. I’ve many feathers to my cap because of it. I’ve been a participant, player, team mate, captain, volunteer, coach, tutor, officer, senior officer and manager thanks to sport. In fact, I still find time to coach, mentor and volunteer in my local community in sport. As a result, I’m an experienced leader in sports development who operates with respect, integrity and honesty.
