  I joined Bently Nevada in UK as a Machinery Diagnostics Engineer in Aug 1986. After working in Sales focused on selling machinery protection and management systems to UK power industry I took the Engineering Projects Manager role in Bently UK where we began to win and execute many large projects for ARAMCO, SABIC, ADNOC/GASCO supplying plant wide machinery protection and management systems for many new refineries, petrochemical plants and gas processing plant. In 1991 I moved to Bently HQ in Minden NV to take the Global Services Leader position. In this role I was responsible for developing Product service training including health and safety, service support plans for new products, change management processes and the globalization of Design and Installation services. During my time in Minden I also gain experience in Production Planning (MRPII) and managed a manufacturing production unit. In 1996 I returned to UK to manage the UK manufacturing and engineering operation. In 1998 I created a new role within the Sales organization creating a Sales and execution methodology to position Bently as the leading supplier of machinery protection and management systems to the major new plant construction projects globally. I returned to Bently HQ in this role until the GE acquisition 2002 when I became the Commercial Operations Leader responsible for implementing the commercial risk processes driving productivity, risk mitigation and growth. In 2008 I became the Global Supporting Services Leader for Bently. In this role I spent many months working within key customer organizations to understand how best to deliver value and we developed various tools and processes to document and measure the value customers received when we managed their Condition Monitoring programs with them. This was very rewarding as I engaged with several major customers and proved the value of the Bently products and services. These efforts lead to the development of many remote monitoring contracts
