Photographed numerous events at this festival including sold out events at the prestigious Francis Winspear Centre for authors such as Naomi Klein, Jon Robson and Alexander McCall Smith. Photographed many small intimate literary events at a variety of venues throughout Edmonton. 
Set up Audio Visual equipment and provided technical support when required. 
My images have been used in a number of Litfest’s online and printed promotional materials. Authors and organisations involved in the festival have requested my photographs for their personal and professional use.

This involves taking care of the performers and their needs. I have been an Artist Handler for k.d. lang, Loreena McKennitt, Wilson Pickett, and Mavis Staples among many others. In this role, my duties include collecting them from the airport and driving them between stages and events. I also acquired numerous other sundry items to make their performance successful and their visit more pleasant.

Developed course materials and taught Information Technology, computer software and design principles to adult learners in classes numbering from 2-20 students. Subjects taught include; Visual Design and Typography using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop (including scanning and other digital capture devices), Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere, After Effects, Captivate as well as the Web technologies: HTML and CSS. Used and taught Microsoft SharePoint, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs and Drive, iPad/iPhone use as well as WordPress and other CMS systems.Demographics of students ranged from Government of Alberta employees, professionals, and university students of mixed abilities. Worked with individual students and groups of students to ensure understanding and proficiency with applications. Assisted with technical difficulties when necessary, i.e. Internet access, computer software installation, audio and/or visual malfunctions.Designed and laid out the Request for Proposal to bid for continuance of the Government of Canada and Government of Alberta professional development contracts. Results of proposals were successful and the contracts were renewed.

I teach software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and Acrobat, as well as Visual Design and Typography and HTML/CSS. I also design their marketing and promotional materials. I was the resident IT technician, maintaining the server and computer labs for faculty, staff and students.
