Handle most phases of database-connected dashboards. Build HTML/CSS/Javascript visual interfaces from designer's PDF or Photoshop comps. Manage server-side database interactions with PHP and SQL; acquire data from database and various web services/APIs. Manage client-side data exchange, linking, and display with Javascript and JQuery (AJAX), including graphing with Highcharts and interactive tables with jqGrid. Create internal and client-facing tools for database administration.

I make websites look and work as their owners want, from functional and visual design to online database systems. I'm a formidable proofreader and copy editor, and as an author's editor, I am not personally invested in my proposed changes: I consider them recommendations, and people usually take them.

Installed and maintained all computer- and network-related hardware and software for an 8-person office. Provided PDF and imaging services for the advertising department, and designed web-based upload and download facility to faciliate ad sales. Designed, wrote copy for, and maintained web site, and served as administrator for in-house Linux server. Helped administer four newspaper contests annually: consulted on, rewrote or edited, and designed rules documents; designed and coded supplemental database software; ultimately produced PowerPoint slideshow and Blender 3D video award presentations.
