David is a former central government Chief Information Officer and was previously a senior army officer in the Royal Corps of Signals. In the course of his career he worked in the UK Government digital and cyber risk fields, and on electromagnetic spectrum policy issues with Ofcom, industry and Government. He currently chairs a private limited company, DMSL, which is a JV of the four UK Mobile Network Operators running programmes in which they have a shared interest. He was a member and chair of the Ofcom Spectrum Advisory Board for several years and he also chaired an industry technical body, the Spectrum Policy Forum, until 2022. David isn’t seeking additional roles.
