 Provided engineering support for a converged voice and data network (both Cisco Call Manager and Nortel Networks voice equipment) encompassing 45 locations worldwide. Integrated the Call Manager into the corporate voice network to allow messaging and other application delivery. Created global, network-wide dial plan that included a large Call Manager in the U.K., a large CS1000 in Paris, France and all North American locations that included Aspect contact centers as well as CS1000 systems across the U.S. Conceptualized, engineered and implemented IP telephony solution to support business requirement for flexible work spaces and telecommuting (ultimately expanded to include over 10,000 users) Engineered and project managed the move of both Capital One tie line hubs (encompassing 250 T1’s that support call center traffic) over a four month period with no outages. Created standardization documentation for all CS1000 systems and related applications to ensure uniformity across all Capital One voice systems. Designed and implemented Capital One’s first IP telephony deployment in 2001. Planned, managed and implemented a Nortel Networks MSC5100 pilot project and evaluation for 50 users.  Planned, managed and implemented a Cisco Systems Call Manager pilot project and evaluation for 50 users. Primary contributor to a major effort focused on centralizing all contact center applications (voice and data) Provided lab testing and evaluation support for all new applications before introduction into production environment.  Responsible for IP telephony hardware evaluation and functional testing. Tested and rated solutions from Avaya, Cisco and Nortel networks Responsible for writing PAC (Production Assurance Certification) documentation for all new voice applications, services and hardware before introduction into production environment.
