Daily tasks and skills:Coordinating project meetings in a scheduled manner both internally and customer-facing. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget. Assist clients and stakeholders in defining project scope and objectives to ensure the goals and objectives of the client are met. Ensure resource availability and proper allocation. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs via effective and consistent communications with clients. Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques. Report and escalate to upper management as needed. Manage relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders. Perform operational risk management to mitigate potential hazards. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and sub-contractors. Delegate project tasks based on project staff members' strengths, skill sets, and experience levels. Started as a volunteer firefighter in 1995 with the Bay Leaf Volunteer FD. I continued my volunteer service until 2009 when I became a full-time firefighter/EMT. Joined the City of Hickory FD until leaving in 2018 as a Captain to the NWFD. I received my State of NC 25-year service award last year. I now work contract work for Innovative EM.
