An Employment Specialist working to the IPS model in partnership with the NHS Secondary Community Mental Health Team. We provide individual support to people with mental health issues looking to gain paid employment. This involves building rapport with our clients, develop an understanding of their key skills, career goals and aspirations, helping find opportunities to match their preferences. The role varies depending on our clients needs, primarily the focus is to assist with CV writing, job searching, applications, interview preparation, confidence building, employer engagement and ongoing support in employment. I am always keen to connect and build relationships with local businesses. Our clients have an array of different skills, experience and personal qualities that would be an asset in the right job. We can also provide free information and resources for businesses to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
