CurrentThrough a fully developed enhanced level maturity and soundness of judgment in decision-making, I assume my role as Director with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating large engineering projects teams. I am typically the main point of contact with a client’s senior management for all client-related issues, with little assistance from the Principal-In-Charge. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Plays a high profile roe in representing the firm in public settings. - Mature marketing skills are utilized in developing leads, developing and maintaining contacts within the field, converting current projects into follow-on projects, bringing in new work, writing proposals, participating in proposal presentations, and negotiating contracts. - Monitors journals and other sources of information for leads, conduct marketing research and analysis, and maintain a network of contacts within the field. - Serves as lead presenter for proposal interviews. - Writes articles, attend conferences for marketing purposes, and make conference presentations. - Develops substantial amounts of new business. - Administration roles include aspects of: information management, development and ongoing company personnel needs and personal recruitment, and company strategic planning. - Manages administrative activities such as project management training, and financial management (including monitoring project status and on accounts receivable). - Provides coaching and mentoring of department staff.
