Provided 3PL Brokerage Services, dedicated to major accounts including AVX Corp., Anheuser-Busch, DOT Foods and Coca-Cola, generated monthly revenue in excess of $12,000.Managed existing and set-up new carrier accounts to meet demands for awarded customer routes.On-Site Representative at ConAgra Foods dedicated to the transportation requirements for 2 production facilities.

Managed the inventory support of a 3 year, multi-million dollar, nationwide project, sub-contracted with the Federal Government.Provided support to field technicians ensuring all vehicles were supplied with necessary inventory to complete assignments in a timely and profitable manner.

Supervised 14 employees in 2 different Non - Production Units: Phosphoric Acid Tolling Unit and Boiler House. Monitored Phosphoric Acid Tank levels for production of 400,000 lbs. of raw materials per day. Oversaw the daily loading and shipping of 200,000 lbs. of liquid material to customers by trucks and rail car and transfer of 570,000 lbs. of liquid material to the plant for daily production. Supervised the operation of the Boiler House which provides steam and air to run the production facilities.

Daily logistics planning at the manufacturing plant to forward products to customers nationwide. Primary responsibility involved 400 monthly shipments to domestic and international customers via LTL, Truckload, Bulk, Rail, Air and Ocean.Tracked and traced shipments by phone and Internet.Reported monthly transportation activity to management.Assist Customer Service representatives with trouble shooting of SAP system.

Daily logistics planning using the SAP system under a contract with Solutia, Inc. at the Solutia site. Primary responsibility involved arranging shipments of finished products from factories and warehouses to customers via LTL, Truckload, Bulk, Rail, Air and Ocean.Tracked and traced 75 domestic and international shipments per day by phone an Internet with Solutia warehouses and transportation vendors. Assisted 25 Customer Service representatives assigned to 3 product lines with trouble shooting of SAP system.

Coordinated international and domestic air and ocean freight for United Van Lines and Mayflower International. Responsible for account reconciliation and negotiating rates with airlines and trucking companies. Daily responsibilities included tracking shipments, providing daily updates to customers and generating detailed paperwork for airfreight and ocean shipments.

Inventory control duties including physical count and data entry record keeping; coordinating domestic and foreign shipments of inventory parts by land, air and sea; quality assurance; light drafting and blue printing duties; dock help including loading/unloading trucks and driving forklift. Provided customer service to domestic and international production plants. Assisted Purchasing Agent with material ordering and expediting by telephone.Increased the volume of inventory levels to a point that allowed production plants to go to Just-In-Time (J.I.T.) inventory.
