I am: Partner in TLT’s International Trade Group, specialising in assisting public and private sector clients with cross-jurisdictional negotiations, transactions, training and technical assistance on matters involving international trade policy and regulation; I have previously worked as an international trade adviser for the United States Government, including serving as delegate to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), World Health Organisation (WHO), World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). My experience includes serving as a negotiator for US bilateral and multilateral free trade agreement negotiations, and as technical adviser and counsel for WTO dispute resolution. I was also Director, International Trade at MinterEllison in Australia, Yeutter Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Nebraska College of Law and the Clayton Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance, and Executive Director of the Institute for International Trade and founding Director of the EU Centre for Global Affairs at the University of Adelaide. I have instructed at the WIPO Worldwide Academy, as well as the U.S. Foreign Service Institute. I have developed and conducted training and technical assistance for government officials from over 100 countries worldwide.
