More recently I have been involved in the tendering, management and valuing of demolition contracts including the partial demolition and asbestos removal at Banff & Buchan college.Key tasks:• Responsible for overall management of projects from conception to completion• Ensure projects complied with HSE regulations and company policy• Preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments• Supervision and coordination of mulitple contractors• Preparation of monthly reports for client and senior management• Prepare, review and update project programmes including as built progress information• Internal programmes for projected revenue, cost and resource requirements• Preparation of budget costs and end forecasts for cost and revenue• Provide technical input for Tender submissions including value engineering options• Technical submissions for main contractors to ensure tenders are suited to the overall programme• Project measurement, cost assessment, CVR, WIP and monthly valuations• Produce claims and negotiate with client Show less

Working within a small team of dispute resolution and claim preparation consultants I was intitially hired to provide computer generated earthwork volume calculations but gained experience in claim preparation, cause and effect programming, life cycle diagrams, arbitration and adjudication. Managed a number of sites ranging from small contracts to large scale earthworks for road construction. Responsibilities included surveying, valuation, managing and coordinating sub-contractors and ensuring projects were completed to programme and within budget.
