My particular focus is on local government law, planning and environment law, and the resolution of commercial disputes. My team and I also often deal with building disputes, disputes over the use of land, commercial contract interpretations and dispute resolutions, as well as the law concerning strata titles.I appear as counsel usually in the Supreme Court of Tasmania and in state and federal tribunals. In particular I appear in the Resource Management and Planning Appeals Tribunal and the Tasmanian Planning Commission for Councils, developers and third parties.I am a member of the Legal Practice Section of the Law Council of Australia and Australasian Legal Practice Management Association.
