• Cultivate and execute sales of Geneius’ services
• Manage the set-up of new customers, including key accounts exceeding 70,000 tests/yr
• Attend customer review meetings and feedback/coordinate actions to the laboratory
• Cross-sell a test portfolio covering ‘routine’, specialist DNA, and bespoke R&D services
• Provide training on Geneius’ GOLD sample registration and results reporting package

• Manage market-leading Commercial Food and Water testing activities in Scotland, by maintaining current business and driving profitable growth.
• Achieve business targets for new business wins and existing business renewals
• Gain market intelligence and raise the profile of the Company
• Generate new business (approx. £600K per annum)
• Identify leads for catchment area
• Conduct presentations to prospective clients, including senior management and procurement, on company services

• Manage a market-leading Food and Water testing laboratory (ALcontrol Bellshill) by providing direction and day-to-day focus in order to achieve business goals.
• Manage approx 40 staff (including 3 direct reports)
• Prepare and review monthly financial information of operational budget (1.5M t/o) including monthly forecasting
• Utilize Key Performance Indicators and analysis to review operational performance
• Develop and manage a bespoke excel –based ‘CRM system’
• Manage quality systems to meet the requirements of accreditation body UKAS under ISO17025 and M&S ISA
