Worked on the development of a SHE System management system that was Intranet based, this included pages for Interested Parties, Risks & Opportunities, Aspects & Impacts, Near Miss Reporting (Safety) Near Miss reporting (Environment), Training, Toolbox Talks, Accident reporting and more. Also developed our own site based Electronic Permit to Work system that was desktop and i- pad accessible, all with IT support. Updated and revised our written Management System. Internal Audits carried out in line with ISO standards 14001:2015-OHSA 18001 and then the successful transition to ISO 45001. Also gained a certificate of compliance for the requirements of ISO 27001:2013 in 2019. Part of the team involved in the decommissioning of RPS (Midlands) Print site, following closure and ceasing of production, ready for a safe handover to contractors for the removal of all equipment. Site is now closed and I am embarking upon a new direction.

Improved Coshh assessments and recording which led to better control of substances. Dealt with External Auditors for ISO 14001 and OHSA 18001. During this period (September 2017) led the successful transition to ISO:14001:2015 Standard. Upon Completion of this started work on redeveloping the sites Policies and Management System and began to set up the sites own Intranet based Management System (with IT support)

Mirror Group Newspapers until 1999 when Trinity Group merged with them and became Trinity Mirror. Senior Team Leader in the Print Room from1997 until 1999 when became Night Supervisor and was involved in the set up of a new shift system on nights to enable the introduction of printing the Metro Newspaper in Birmingham, this was the set up and running of a 3 on 3 off shift system and also involved the interviewing and recruitment of a number of new staff to enable this. In 2002 became involved with the project team for the movement to a brand new state of the art Newspaper printing facility that was being based in Erdington-Birmingham.

In 1996 was promoted to the position of Senior Team Leader.Worked on the Crabtree Viceroy DI Litho web presses until 1990 then worked on the Goss Visa Web Offset Printing Presses.
