Since 2017 I have worked occasionally as a freelance writer, covering topics ranging from science to history to philosophy. I have written for a variety of international publications and websites including Free Inquiry, The Humanist, Open Democracy, The Skeptic, Nadja, Latterly, Are We Europe and Cafe Babel, among others. In 2020 my first book, Past Mistakes: How We Misinterpret History And Why It Matters, was published by Icon Books.
