* Manage and accountable for all quality, systems, environmental, and product audits as the “Department Library” including ISO, TUEV, other audit bodies, for internal and external audits in compliance with the BMW Quality Management System. * Responsible for a 4.5-million-dollar annual departmental budget and the accountability of the financial results.* Manage a Team of 13 professionals in parts quality while ensuring digitalization and development of new systems, software, applications, and IT tools.* Manage the tendering, assessing, support sourcing strategies, and the performance and accountability of four multi-million dollar departmental indirect supplier service contracts (Approx. $ 20+ million annually) for various quality services.* Routinely consulted with for multiplication within Plant Spartanburg, as the contract management benchmark.* Ensure sustainability and cyber-security, including information protection and compliance, for the QMT Front Desk Department.* Manage all warehouse quality operations, processes, and containments within the quality containment cages, in 9 logistics warehouses, which are located onsite and offsite within BMW’s Manufacturing footprint.* Ensure effectiveness and accountability of direct supply chain, including supplier reporting, financial claiming, and supplier escalations for all assembly direct purchase material including all part containments and rework for both of Plant Spartanburg’s assembly halls.* Manage all Production Network 1 and Production Network 2 (BMW Consolidated Services, LLC – Pack Center) for assurance of quality control for all Inbound Containments and manage the top supplier liable Outbound Claims with close loop problem solving.* Manage all supplier liable assessing and dispositioning (red table management for non-confirming material) for the part decisions, returns, claiming, and recovery for all relevant material rejections within Plant Spartanburg’s assembly operations.
