Dorking

Following the merger of SITA Waste Management and Group Fabricom Waste businesses (previously part of Belgian Tractebel Group) appointed Regional Finance Director South East Region in newly strutured business.Annual revenue of £250m, the region accounted for 50% of UK activity. Over 18 months with New Regional MD developed and delivered a integration plan to combine operations and support functions of 2 SITA Regions and Group Fabricom southern business. Established new regional structure, reduced regional overheads by 3.5m and substantial improved profitability and significantly reduced working capital levels.Disposed of and closed loss making activities and contracts. Integrated 3 Finance functions, relocated team from contract and depot locations into new head office and reduced headcount by 40%.
