Direct activities and delegate assignments of team of 4 inspectors as required to meet deadlines in fast paced environment.Ensure the safe and timely sampling of all required materials following established methods and SOP’s in accordance with cGMP’s.Responsible for inspection and release of all packaging components and sampling of raw materials used in production.Troubleshooting for online/in process/finished product defects that required research and testing to determine cause and corrective action required to resolve the issue.Establish sampling priorities.Ensure sampling staff are trained and fully utilized.Represent Quality Control Department in discussions with Purchasing and Suppliers.Maintain specification procedures and standards for packaging components, ensuring they remain current.Liaise with other departments on material QC issues (Receiving, Manufacturing, Packaging etc.).

Promotion received to cover employee on leave)Responsible for managing coordination of inventory components by establishing and maintaining the C:M information system, developing component specifications and managing the change or establishment of new components.Participate in project teams with the business group and clients as it relates to product launches, transfers etc. Establish component specifications and manage the artwork process with the client and vendor.Establish and maintain MRP system components and Bills of Materials through the Change and Alert Notice process.Assess all new/revised packaging components against operational requirements and vendor capabilities. Manage the preparation of new/revised packaging component specifications.Obtain artwork and specification approvals from appropriate internal and external sources as outlined in the relevant SOP’s.Prepare Cost of Change summaries for projected transition costs or client billings.Review materials inventory to assess and minimize expired materials.

Granulation department duties included mixing, milling and baking of raw materials as per batch records. Disassembling, cleaning and reassembling of machinery and equipment.
