About David Neer
I am currently a student at Becker College graduating soon with a degree in Production and Management, and I'm looking forward to starting a career in this industry.I've been interested in the process of developing and playing games for my entire life, and I've spent the last several years learning about games and the process around their creation. One of the aspects that drove me to start a career in game development was the enjoyment that comes from constantly learning new things and exploring new ideas.Although I find that the most interesting aspect of creating a game is the design and production process, I love learning about all of it's components. Every aspect of games need to be understood to deliver a unique experience and to sustain a business to provide that experience.As I prepare to graduate and enter the workforce, I'm excited to continue to learn and improve my craft.

I enlisted in the U.S. Army and completed training as a Cavalry Scout (19D) in early 2012. This enforced discipline in me that has pushed me to new heights I did not think I was capable of at the time. The discipline and initiative that I gained resulted in gaining a lot of personal confidence in myself, which was something I struggled with in the past. As I reached the rank of specialist, I learned to lead by teaching new members how to function in the unit, perform basic tasks, and checking their previous work to ensure it was up to standard. Even after I was honorably discharged after 3 years of service, all of the personal growth from my time in service continues to stick with me. After I left, I immediately moved to Massachusetts to begin attending college and earn a degree in the Interactive Media field.
