As the chief resident for Emergency Medicine (EM) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, I supervise EM residents as well as orient and educate medical students, off-service residents, and EM residents. In addition, I am in charge of ED resident coverage for UAMS and Arkansas Childrens Hospital. I have assisted in both resident interviews and a departmental chair search. I am also a member of the UAMS Residency Resource Council.

I was proud to have to opportunity to serve as a volunteer firefighter in my hometown of Big Horn, WY. During my time there, I responded to fire and emergency medical calls and interacted with other fire, medical, and law enforcement members in the community.
