Our practice was dedicated to representing individuals who suffered discrimination or retaliation in employment or in places of public accommodation. Gained aptitude in case evaluation, client communications, statutes and regulations, administrative remedies, discovery, and motion practice in state and federal court.

I worked with Judge Michael Burton in St. Louis County Division 16 from January through July of 2014. I aided the Judge by drafting proposed orders for motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment, observing attorneys in bench and jury trials, and researching and drafting parts of the 2014 CLE supplement for Domestic Violence: Orders of Protection. I observed, researched, and drafted documents in both criminal and civil matters and had opportunities to talk with Judge Burton about mastering the skills needed to be an excellent trial lawyer.
