Due to the economic downturn in Ireland work was pretty scarce. I had obtained my PSV (public service vehicle) licence several years before, so i purchased a nine seat mini van. I managed to drum up enough business for myself that I rarely had to wait at a taxi rank. On many occasions I would have six or more other drivers collecting my customers as I became too busy at certain times. My working times were usually 6pm-5am six nights a week. These were very unsociable hours and also the most dangerous ones.
