As a Consultant at Ireland’s leading sustainability advisory practice, KPMG’s Sustainable Futures, I work to deliver high impact sustainability programmes addressing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics, decarbonisation and long-term value creation. I have expertise in sustainability strategy, regulatory readiness (inc. CSRD), national policy development, sustainable finance, climate risk, biodiversity, sustainable supply chains and the use of technology to support sustainability programmes.

At the conclusions of my studies on exchange at Utrecht University, I was selected to undertake my MSc. Capstone research project in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact, under the supervision of the Senior Sustainability Advisor and former Special Envoy for Climate Change for the Netherlands, Mr. Hugo von Meijenfeldt. My study examined the rapidly evolving international regulatory landscape facing companies across the European Union under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and included conducting cross-country analysis on the current state of alignment for companies. My research included identifying and securing stakeholder engagement from the European Commission’s Project Task Force on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (PTF-ESRS), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI) and PwC Netherlands. Through this project, I gained invaluable experience and expertise in conducting and communicating research while working in an interdisciplinary and multi-cultural team, as well as in fostering relationships with a range of international experts in sustainable finance.

Generating a fifth of all spin-out companies in Ireland, Trinity College Dublin has been ranked Europe’s number 1 university for educating entrepreneurs for six consecutive years. Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace, is the new umbrella initiative coordinating the university’s activities in innovation and entrepreneurship. Reporting directly to the Head of Engagement, I was responsible for the following:- Working closely with the Head of Engagement towards securing corporate sponsorship for social entrepreneurship events (Hackathons and Sprints) including the “Sustainability Sprint: Create Today to Protect Tomorrow” with UPS, “Blue Skies Thinking” with DAA, and the annual Provost’s Challenge, which awards €3,000 to the winner on themes including “Hacking Plastic” and “Sustainable Cities”.- Working with the EIT KIC Programme Manager to support campaigns across three EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), including Climate, Health and Raw Materials.-Supporting on content development, branding and recruitment for the PG Certificate in Climate Entrepreneurship. Devising campaign messaging/ strategy and developing all marketing collateral (brochures, graphics, facilitating Zoom webinars), subsequently securing record applications/engagement.- Supporting the CEO’s delivery of strategy documents and internal communications, preparing and editing reports, correspondence, marketing briefs and presentations.

Reporting to the Head of Engagement and Communications Manager, I assisted with the creation and execution of Tangent’s engagement strategy. As Communications Assistant, I was responsible for:- Assisting the Head of Entrepreneurship and the EIT KIC Manager with the planning, development and execution of the EIT Raw Materials DigiEdu Hackathon, which accelerates startups in the Raw Material sector.- Supporting the CEO and Communications Manager’s preparation for the Future Jobs Summit at Tangent, where an Taoiseach launched the €300 million Human Capital Initiative as part of Future Jobs Ireland. - Assisting the Head of Engagement on a range of successful proposals for corporate and public sector engagements, including Red Bull Basement Hackathons, Dublin City Council’s Smart City events, training programmes with Matheson and roundtable events with Bank of Ireland.

Founded in 1683, The University Philosophical Society (The Phil) is the world's oldest student society, with 10,000+ members. As Librarian, I was responsible for all aspects of the Society's publicity, communications and marketing.• management of all social media platforms i.e. Facebook – 10,000 follower base• coordination with the Society's speakers and guests prior to visits regarding marketing and communication strategies• event photographer and videographer• graphic design - posters and social media • graphic design of Society’s annual publication• weekly email campaign – circulation 9,000• website – content management and updates

From early May until late September I was employed as a Receptionist/Attendant (living on campus full-time), working varied hours within a 24 hour/7 day week roster. This role required carrying out hotel reception duties, handling telephone, e-mail and internet reservations and enquiries, together with other secretarial duties including student accommodation requirements.
