Dave has been a leader, problem-solver and consensus-builder in the public and private sectors for more than 40 years. Currently, as President and sole proprietor of O'Connor Energy Consulting, he helps private companies and non-governmental entities design and improve public policies that advance clean energy technologies and programs.From 2008 through August of 2022, he was Senior Vice President for Energy and Clean Technology at ML Strategies, LLC. There he helped energy and technology companies align their business strategies with emerging public policies and gain competitive advantage through advocacy with policy-makers and regulators. He has also been a public official. He served as the Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources during the tenures of five Governors, from 1995 to 2007. During this time he directed the state agency charged with developing and implementing the state's energy policies and programs.
