I am also highly experienced and adept at transformation and change.My early career was focussed on financial roles in large banking and multi-billion-dollar shipping industries in Australia and overseas but as my capabilities broadened and deepened, my areas of interest changed. I began to move into executive positions focussed on general management and functional leadership. From this, I realised that I was at my best when I was leading multiple functional areas, dealing with challenges and complexity, helping to grow and enhance a business and its people, positively impacting clients and the outcomes they were expecting, and contributing to an organisation’s ongoing success. My experience was further enhanced by contracts in the superannuation and energy sectors before I made the move to the not-for-profit industry. Here, I have found a place where I know that what I do truly makes a difference to the lives of others. This corporate experience has also had the flow-on effect of allowing me the opportunity of contributing to not-for-profit boards.
