I work Toyota in the logistics Dept.Having worked on the shop floor for 13 years,I worked in every group from fork lift truck driver on the docks, delivery member taking parts to line, kanban room dealing with shortages at line and then B cat role which is a team that is capable of doing all one hundred and twenty one processes on time to cover emergencies.I was then asked to join the project team 3 years ago.Our team of 4 are responsible for any takt changes,setting up new processes,designing sourcing and implementation of the new process or equipment and data collection,producing KPI's for our Department.Also I'm a qualified licensed work instructor for forklift trucks and tow motors.I have a Nvq 3 in business improvement techniques and a very good knowledge of kaizen techniques including TPS, FMDS, Stop6a safety awareness ,problem solving using Q C circles and getting the best from members. I am a very positive person and believe kaizen and happy motivated members are the way forward.
