Experience includes environmental law, product liability, various federal and state regulations, class actions and mass torts. Represents national manufacturing companies in major litigation and regulatory compliance matters, state and federal courts and agencies. Guides companies regarding environmental compliance, product safety, product defect claims response, compliance, labeling, warnings, warranty law. For national clients, helps to resolve product regulatory and class action issues under California laws, with appropriate use of CA counsel, including non-functional slack fill allegations, Prop 65. Cases under CERCLA and state environmental laws, including commencing Superfund trial to help achieve favorable result for client. Federal environmental, packaging, labeling., hazardous materials transportation issues. Administrative appeals to the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.Works with the firm's M&A and corporate counsel on transactional issues, including addressing environmental and product liability reps and warranties.
